Birthday Party

Posted by Daniel on Sep-27-2008

Here’s some photos of a mini birthday party bash threw by a lovely group of Chongfu students for Agnes on 26th September. These thoughtful students chipped in their pocket money and bought her a birthday cake, how sweet!

New Friends

We made some new friends with our malay counterparts, Rina and Yati! These bubbly duo are very supportive, always giving new suggestions and ideas. And they have tried almost every item on our menu!

‘Hidden Items’ Part 1

Posted by Daniel on Sep-19-2008

There are a few items on our menu which is not on our website or flyers, at least for now. One of the reasons is that we came up with these dishes after the website was launched and do not have time to update it. :( But for those who keep track on our blog or visit the takeaway store, you’re in luck.

Fish Bites n Chips is one of our most popular munchies which both adults and kids savour. Fresh Dory fish covered with our secret recipe home-made batter, complimented with thick cut chips. Give it a try!

Sweet ‘n’ Sour

Posted by Daniel on Sep-19-2008

Recently a few incidents happened that did not really please us. Firstly we got 2 of our laminated menus ‘taken away without our permission’, several cans of Potato Crackers ‘taken away’ without payment made. And we received a complaint from a customer who finds our food expensive and not up to standard.  We respect the opinion of this customer, we have apologized and taken our measures to appease him.

We always welcome everyone’s feedback, compliments or criticism. But do bear with us if our service or food is not up to your standard; we’re only 2 weeks old! No one like bad vibes, but we’ll take them all in our stride and improve as we learn.

And for the support from our family members, friends and returning customers, HERE’S A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU! Your presence and encouragement is truly appreciated.

On a lighter note, our long awaited flyers and namecards are finally out! Please feel free to grab some from the counter and mass distribute to your friends and families ;)

Shopping List

Posted by Daniel on Sep-16-2008

This evening a four year old girl accompanied by her grandmother visited us. Holding in her tiny hand was a piece of paper torn from an ‘Exercise Book’ which she handed over to me. Apparently it was a shopping list scribbled by his elder brother. Baked Potato, Orange Juice and Chese Fries. Sweet!

Baoer, Sharmain and Peiyi

Posted by Daniel on Sep-16-2008

In less than a fortnight, the small little shop of Potato Farmland has become an after school hangout for 3 adorable Primary 6 students. Baoer, Sharmain and Peiyi never fail to visit us every afternoon. Whether it is just for a chat or for a munch, the trio never fails to warm us with their smiles and laughter. What really touched us is that they even volunteered to pass our flyers to their classmates. Realising Agnes’s birthday is just round the corner, they even drew her a birthday card. And before they left, they left us some really sweet notes which made us felt all hardwork was worthwhile.

Visit by a young couple

Posted by Daniel on Sep-15-2008

This afternoon Mochi and her boyfriend came all the way down from Ang Mo Kio and Jurong respectively to Potato Farmland through word of mouth. Apparently they were the first to try our Potato (Cheddar) Pops and they love it! It really made my day! Thanks for the visit Mochi, hope to see you again!

Our lovely BuiBui

Posted by Daniel on Sep-14-2008

Ever since operation started at Potato Farmland, our lovely pet dog ‘BuiBui’ has been neglected due to our long working hours. So here’s a post dedicated to our most loyal supporter, who never fails to let us know how delicious our snacks are.
